Brewing green tea with boiled water can make tea quite bitter, so we recommend using warm water for our sencha. However you can use boiled water for this tea because it is produced exclusively for boiled water brewing. 

This tea is categorised Tamaryokucha, "coiled-green-tea". It is created by steaming in special process similarly in appearance to the pan-fired teas of China. The process gives the tea less astringency but milder flavour than sencha. It has nice scent with a hint of sweetness.
